What does it take to install factory power steering on an XP900?

How much trouble is it to install factory power steering in my 2011 xp900 ? Is it something I can do or do I need to have the dealer do it .

On factory models the PS is controlled by ECU, you will probably need ECU and wiring harness to install one on you car. IMO Better way will be, if you want to use factory PS to use module like we use with the Z1 swap. Just 3 wires hook up. But why you don't want go with the aftermarket PS kit ?

I installed mine on my 13 XP900, aftermarket, I got on eBay was like $450 , not the easiest install, cause directions weren't that great, but once I figured it out it wasn't too bad, it was easy to wire up. Made a huge difference in how the machine handled

I installed the factory power steering in my XP900 and it was plug and play , very easy . This was probably the best thing I have done to mine.
