Need to make Trailer wider Just in Case

    I need some help here

Guess Ed and Jim made that UTV Rack for Barrys Rig to go on top of his bed in his new truck

Any-way I was checking it out, awesome job guys and it gave me the Idea to make My 60" by 120" Trailer Wider

So I do-not have to buy another Trailer to haul wider rig around

I need to make it at least 76" Wide so I can Drive wider than 60" rig on it

Who can help? I plan on having it done this winter

Here is a only pic I have of it

Looks like could weld or bolt 2 10'' wide by 120'' Rack Platform on top of steel railing

A wider rig than could be loaded on it than

Will raise the center of gravity above fender wells, but will give me storage under rig as well

Has 3,000 lbs total weight capacity

    Who can do it?

If it was me i would take the side rails off and extend the side out and make it so you drive over the fenders . Next time I see you I'll look at it better and tell you more of what I think .

I agree. You would be much better off removing the rails. I don't think I would want my rzr being supported just by the tie down rails.

Yep you are prolly right about it riding on side rails

May-be just drive over fenders is the ticket

Leo, you could get a stock width Rhino and leave your trailer the way it is.....is that an option?

I would feel better with the center of gravity lower with only single axle and possible blowout. IDK, looks like could ride on trailer itself safer.

Everything is always an option Bro...

Only problem if I got a Rhino than I would have nothing to wrench on all the time

I was faced with a similar issue. My 18' car trailer wasn't enough for all of my toys so I decided to make it a 26' deck over trailer adding 10" to either side in width. I bought 12" wide flat stock and had the steel yard bend it in their brake to make a nice 90* corner for the edges. I then added gussets to support it to the trailer. I'll post pictures for you to get ideas from.
