Looks like I wont be down until early Thursday morning. Unless I think I can get across the Dam by 10 pm. So what time is the rides leaving the parking lot Thursday?

I guess my next question is, is their any place I can camp if I dont get to the bridge in time. I coming from Roseburg Oregon. Hoping to leave at 5 pm. Looks like a 4 hour drive at best. Pulling a 32 foot trailer with 2 side by sides inside. Going over Siskyou's pass and a lot of other high elevation climbs. So I think 4 hours is not realistic for me. And I have to unload the Side by sides to be able to sleep. So would like a some what secure spot.

Okay looking at google map. Can you use the Shasta dam access road. That is located below the dam. And can you cross on this bridge at any time of day?

No you can not use the access road below the dam.crossing the dam is the only way in.
