BLM SEEKS PUBLIC INPUT ON PROPOSED ROUTE DESIGNATION PROJECT IN SAN BERNARDINO COUNTY
The Bureau of Land Management’s Barstow Field Office has made available for 30-day public comment an Environmental Assessment on a route designation proposal affecting 130 miles of routes located on BLM public lands currently maintained by the county of San Bernardino’s Public Works Department.
The proposal includes changing the designated motorized use of the 130 miles of routes managed by the BLM to street legal vehicles to align with county management. This proposed change is temporary until a final decision on the West Mojave Route Network Project is issued which is anticipated in Fall 2019.

The Environmental Assessment can be viewed at https://go.usa.gov/xPrxr
or by visiting the Barstow Field Office at 2601 Barstow Road, Barstow, CA 92311.

When you go to this site, scroll down to documents and click on the second document. This will give you the Environmental Assessment. Go to section 4.5 of the document for the description of proposed restricted vehicles. Then go to Chapter 8 Appendix A, this will give you a list of roads being closed for OHV use.
