    Grooves in wheels.

So the last ride I went on to Monday Flats, I got a stick wrapped up inside my rear wheel, couldn’t get it out at the time so just road back with it in there.
Took it off at home and it groove the rim pretty bad, it’s not leaking air , but thinking it may be a weak link going through rocks or something, I also have one in the front that has some grooves in it also, what do you guy think?

If I have to get new wheels should I go with 15” rims for more room ?

It's hard to tell by the pick, but it doesn't look that deep. The problem I had with 15" wheels was that, not all sxs tires come in 15" wheel and the ones that I liked didn't. If the tires you like do, then it's not an issue. Just a thought.

Went with these for both our X3 RC's. They have 100% positive reviews so we thought we'd try them.

The kit looks good, I'm not running the stock wheels so it wouldn't fit my set up.

Oh ok. They definitely won't work with offset aftermarket wheels. Are you running rokblokz trailing arm rock flaps? They will help immensely from rocks getting in your wheels. Also if you haven't already done it make sure you remove the mudscrapers as they like to trap rocks in your wheel.

All probably go with 15” wheel , but for now I think I’ll just beat these up some more till the tires need replacing.

Most of the peeps have rocks that eat the rims up.....rims will look just like that, but that is crazy bad from a stick.
