Is the 56 a channel number? Or do you tune it to 154.980?

I'm not sure, I know for my RH-5R rugged radio it came programmed with the channels and bajapits is channel three on it, but I'm sure you can just tune it in to 154.980?

I was told by the guy at rugged radios, that all of their radios, come pre programmed with all of the popular off-road team channels + 4 different weather channel, programmed for different geographical areas. That's what came on mine.
