From what I understand is there coming out with a off road model sometime next year? But I can't wait that long. Yeah defiantly bummed.

From what the engineers where saying at the Heyday ride event last weekend, was this is the race model, and the off road model won't be till probably this time next year ? I don't know what I want to get now, I guess just wait awhile see what happens, I miss going out and riding.

Well guys I have been researching this new Yamaha, everything looked pretty good, but today I read that the Yamaha engineers are saying even with a Rekluse this machine is not intended for hills, trails, or even light duty rock crawling??? And is only intended for open desert racing and dunes.
With this new info I think I'm going to hold off for a while, pull my deposit, I really like the it looks, and the stuff it comes with , but I don't want to just race everywhere either. Pretty disappointed right now, I just don't want to get the first one and be bummed that it won't comfortable Cruze though the wood, and go fast though the open sections.

It's a good thing you really do your homework, Mike! Better to be disappointed now than when it is sitting in your garage. But I completely agree with you that variety in riding is important. If I had to choose just one kind of riding.......... I don't think I could!

I am like you do-not know what to get now

But it does have me thinking

We would have a far better machine I believe
