So when you take the motor apart you fix all the short comings inside as well? Are all the motors assembled this way? Besides the turbo what else do you do to it.

Yes I dress all the shortcuts that Polaris adopted to take in saving money in the 14 and 15 models..
All 14 and 15 models are assembled this way
For turbo application here's a list of what I do
1 carrillo rods
2 CP forged pistons
3 Oringed cylinder
4 head studs
5 valve spring conversion back to XP 900
6 harden cam buckets
7 manual cam chain tensioner
If a guy would want to do the bare minimum to his car the major weak link are the rods I would do a nice set of carrilo rods and manual cam chain tensioner.
