Sorry we missed it this year! I expected more water in the creek.
Awesome ride!! Thanks for organizing. We were one of the only 5 cars to actually make the whole loop. Seems like the vast majority turned back and took the shortcut about 75% of the way through when pipelayer had the radius arm break. (Aside, how'd you get out pipelayer?! do tell.) Wonder if some of them were just following the field unknowingly. The rest had some snow, but really just a ton of fast sections... which was great to get some wind in the sails and really rip after the slow sections.
I was expecting a real small turnout. Only 6 people said they were coming here. Then a huge crowd! Was this advertised somewhere else too perhaps?
Where do I start?... thanks for coming, first off, I broke a heim joint on my radius rod, i asked Kevin to lead the rest because he had tracks for the route, I don’t think that all people understood that(my fault) so some chose to go the easy way back. I was able to take the broken part of the heim out and threaded the heim back on with the three threads left on it. Made it back 12 miles. I agree that it’s a cool loop because it’s got all different kinds of terrain and scenery. It’s more fun with a smaller group that likes to keep a faster pace
