There is plenty of room to dry camp out there. EPL did last year.

I usually stay in a hotel for rides in this area. Especially if they are one day rides.

We have camped right at the end of Johnson Lane several times. Definitely not fancy, but lots of room. There's also a very nice RV park out on 395 (about 4 miles from the staging area) just north of Johnson Lane.
