Reports from a test drive in Australia said it was a bit more sluggish thru first 3 gears than the driver's Maverick, but 4&5 gears hauled the mail....leads me to believe the CVT starts leveling out on top end where the 3 banger and non CVT could keep pulling harder....it also could be setup as a Yamaha ringer without rpm limited?....150 kph was mentioned....if that equates to 90-100 mph, that direct drive 1:1 manual and 10,500 rpm may be a Baja and desert runner.

So not having seeing the Yamaha yet, I do like what I'm seeing and reading so far,
BUT a couple weeks ago when I was looking at Mavericks, the best deal I could fine was 23,500 OTD with Doors and Roof, so I told the dealer I would think about it, and really kind of waiting on the Yamaha.
SO Maverick dealer calls me today and said I can have the last one in the crate with doors and aluminum roof for 21,500 OTD, I wanted to be 21k even, so it's close. Now I guess I will have to think about it more.
