    This is a lil tech advice for you 900 guys,in this pic with the yellow circle is a left hand thread stud that holds a gear on it it's part of the starter gears..

    I've been seeing a issue with it backing out.
    If you don't catch it in time it can crack the engine case an do major damage

    What all do you need to check it. I've been meaning to check mine. I hear you clean it out and use loctite on it but which loctite?

    You have to pull off the flywheel which requires a special Polaris tool, go figure but I just happen to have one of those.

    Its reverse thread so you have to remember when taking it off.

    I just saturated the hole threads with red loctite
