All depends on what Hp that 3banger lays down out of the box..

Damm Yamaha shoud have just dropped in there 4cyl.Apex engine and called it done.

Manual tranny sucks a$$ in a SXS

Shifting gears is way over rated in a sxs, guys think it would be cool to drive like a sand car well I had a sxs with 300 hp and 6 speed tranny.
When you are out dunning and trust me we dune hard the only time its kind of fun is places like glamis or dumot where its wide open and you don't have to worry about small drops and witch eyes. In the desert where its wide open mite be ok but trail riding and dunes like Oregon it sucks bad

The design schematics show a third pedal in the cockpit. It may be for clutching to stopping and starting.....or an oversized dimmer switch...lol...also seen is a shifter between the seats as well.
