Both rugged and Baefong handhelds worked great. I will need to get better ear pieces. The stock ones start to hurt. Btw, anyone know why some people sound very quiet and others are loud?

More often than not it is the distance peeps place their microphone from their mouths. We had a couple quiet ones down in Ocotillo during preride...the leader would tell "Joe" to move his mike where it was almost touching his lips....that was the issue with them.

What have you got going on for the antenna? I have never seen that type of connector.

I have a 12" magnet mount on a plate that I have bolted to the roll bar. I have a helmet head set and i was going to put the talk button on the shifter so all the cords are between the seats.
