I got Barry on freq tonight too.

Something else you guys might want to do is "Lock" your keypad so it wont get changed accidentally while riding around. The #key also has a picture of a key on it.......Press and hold it till the voice says "lock". You are now locked on freq......press and hold again to unlock so you can make changes if desired.

Corey, make sure first you read your radio's OEM program/firmware and save it in a safe location. Otherwise you may load it with a bad file and loose receive on your new radio. Ill PM you a link to the file I'm using for others' handhelds.......Copy and paste to YOUR radio's open file and you will be ready to rock.

Looks like it came ready to go. You could always join us this weekend and give us some pointers.

OK, you did go the Rugged route then.....That one works as is! I use that setup when I was riding the motorcycle and it worked pretty well.

I was strongly considering coming over, but work has gotten in the way.....not fond of when it gets that cold either.

Closed this week to catch up on the stuff I have been behind on. The shop hasn't been this clean/organized in over 10 years!
