There is dry camping on the West side of the Shasta Dam , there is a first come first serve camp area and they have a lot for over flow camping !!

If you look at the link I posted above, that is the staging area. The campground is to the right. Of course this is my assumption, I have not been there before, and am still awaiting a reply from someone on here.
