I took a couple wrong roads after the sun dropped over the mountains last year and got lost....does that count to lose oneself?.lol

I failed to zip up a pants pocket, and dropped a Taurus TCP 738 on the trail. Scared the crap out of me.
The good news is that somehow I noticed it missing almost immediately, and only had to backtrack 1/4 mile to find it.
The thing was laying in plain sight right in the middle of the trail. 8 other guys drove right over it. One of them is a cop.

Lost my big Yeti cooler doing 45 or so. Went several miles before I stopped for a break and realized it was gone. I raced back to find it only to come across a dude in a yota with it strapped to his roof. I stopped and he got out laughing about how he was admiring my setup when I was at the staging area only to find the cooler on the side of the road. He knew it was mine and figured I was heading to the only lake out that way. The cooler took the tumble really well with all of my beer and food still intact!!! Didn't even loose any ice

I was racing on a trail and on my second time around, I ran over a real nice lighted whip on the trail. Said to myself, damn that sucks that someone lost their nice whip. Then I looked in the mirror and notice I didnt have a whip anymore!
