    Check your boots

    I just had this guy drop his car off with me, he had a shop rebuild his engine and he had one ride out in the desert with this car and at the end of the the day it turned into an oil burning smoke show

    I guess that shop neglected to see the tears in the intake boots...

    So check your boots make sure they're in good shape or you can eliminate the problem entirely and go with billet intakes and never have a problem again.

    I should have upgraded mine when I took it apart just to inspect them. I've had a idle issue for about 1 1/2 years. Pretty sure it the idle control valve now.

    This great advise , I had one go bad and it cost me a motor.
