I did part of the Rubicon once; started at Loon Lake, and took 11 hours to go 13 miles! I was totally whipped by the end of the day. This video perfectly explains why. It took persistence, but you made it over that ledge.
I'm really glad I crossed the Rubicon off my bucket list so I don't have to do it again!
