If your in the South dunes ( Coos Bay/Bull run staging area) come join us pancakes and tearing up so beach grass in the Bull Run Restoration project area

Can you please expand on the goal of "trash the grass"? Can't seem to find the complete definition on the STRD site?? Obviously it is to destroy some of the invasive grass, but where exactly, how much, what is the ultimate goal, etc. A lot of people are unaware of the problem and potential solution. Thanks!

This area that they are talking about is the 45 acres at Bull Run...that the Forest Service and several OHVers went in and opened the area back up to open sand.( September 2013).removed pines, Scot's broom and beach grass..this will be an on going event along with other areas that is slated for dunes restoration. .
