    shocks

    What does the top spring do? It doesn't look like it doesn't do anything and it's compressed all the way down so what the hell does it do anybody know?

    I agree with you Ed. Most, if not all, of 1Ks I've seen have that top spring in a virtual 100% coil bind.....goes against my scientific reasoning powers completely.

    I beleive it opens up at full droop.

    X2 What you need to do Ed is do the tender spring replace !!

    This is our static spring with machine resting on the trailer now. Shouldn't it open at full droop also? Why wouldn't any upper dual spring not open at full droop?? Not understanding this.

    Yes it does open at full drop but when the car is sitting the top spring is compressed and there's only about 4" of the rod out and it rides ruff and it's the same way in the back .I'm begging to think there's something wrong with the shocks.

    That's how the XP1000 springs are , that's why you do the tender spring change .

    Ok I guess I'll look into it . How much is this going to set me back. I'll have some time to check it out I'm going under the knife on the 19th so I will have time to look for parts. Thanks for the help ed .

    The front tender springs for the 4 seater are about $60.00 each . The rest is all labor which I will help you.
