1K tender spring swap.
I'm doing the tender spring swap on my 2014 1k 2 seater putting the 4 seater front tenders on the front an the fronts on the rear my question is are you guys that have done this swap putting the adjustable nut on top of the spring back to the factory settings?

I ended up setting mine to 2.5" from the top flat to the top of the nut in the front and 7.5" in the rear. I drive really aggressively on some race style trails and I feel like the increased preload on the front firmed up the front end and made it more predictable in corners. The 1" of threads would probably ride a lot smoother though.

I did mine and gave it more preload on the adjusting nut for more ground clearance. Set it up for your style of riding. Try different settings and see what you like. You may not like someone else's setup. The spring swap is a must no matter what..
