Johnson Lane Ride April 14th (Date Change)

I have been riding with most of you for the last few years and set up my rides based on what I think everyone will enjoy. I try not to go too fast and try to be mindful of less skilled riders. It’s hard to keep the experienced riders interested. Alan, you’ll notice that I changed direction on one part of the route because you thought that it may be too difficult for a large group. Also, I pre ride my routes 2 to 3 times before a group ride, so I have a little bit invested in it. So it’s pretty disappointing to get negative feedback. Scott is right, I always add something a little bit technical because it always gives us some good campfire stories. The first half, I would give a 6 because of the delays and the second half, a 9 or ten. I have done this one with a small group of experienced riders and it was a solid 10.

Hope you didn't take it wrong... I was just jokeing around! Everyone knows your rides are outstanding and well planed out. Any criticism by me or on the forum lately was not aimed at you or any particular ride. Only trying nicely to educate those who invite the inexperienced along, the impact it can have and what to do about it in the future.
