What side x side purchase help.

Hello everyone, I'm new to the sxs world since always been on atvs or dirt bikes. I curently just listed my 14 ktm dirt bike for sale and want to get my daughter out there with me. I just trail ride here in pa (nothing crazy)and want to be able to go into a state forest so I was looking at the trail model rzr's. I need some opinions on selection I know there are new 14's still out their at a discounted price or is the 15 that much better. the other question would be on the engine size ??

If all you do is trail ride with you kid and don't care to get to crazy, then an 800 would be more than enough for you, BUT IF you are like 99.9% of us. You will always want a little more. I would go for the 900 if I were you. Also with my toys I ALWYAS buy new because you never know what has truly been done to the machine. Good luck with the search.

I would say an 800 work fine but most people always end up moving up to larger one so I would say get at least a 900 . The other thing to think about is the width of the trails you plan on riding on.

If your not looking to be the fastest and just want to ride on the trails and have fun the Polaris 570 is a nice ride.

We have been pretty happy with our 800S. I think it was a good solid compromise. The limiting factor for us was the size of our toy hauler - I couldn't get a 900XP and didn't want to deal with the never ending string of costly upgrades. I'm interested in knowing how the 900S performs on trails.....

I would think that size would be a factor. If you ride where the trail size is limited to 50" you don't have to much to choose from. If not the 800S is a nice ride for trails and all around riding.
