Uses all factory hardware, no adapter plate so it stays a true suspension seat.

Installed a new empire fuel rail and fuel line!
Let’s hope this takes the worries of fire away.

I bought a new Empire fuel rail right after I saw the "failed Shasta-Chappie pre-ride" fire, but I finally installed it tonight. The only thing that threw me for a loop was a quick connect fitting installed in the rail that I didn't need for the installation, so I thought I was missing something in my kit. Once I removed the fitting everything installed rather quickly.

I think the quick connect on the fuel rail is for the people that just replace the fuel rail and use the stock fuel line !!

Ahhh... that makes sense. I thought maybe someone returned it with the extra fitting installed... then I realized that the fitting at the end of the braided steel line was 1/8" pipe and so was the quick connect fitting. The whole installation took about 40 minutes, but I spent 10 minutes thinking I had lost part of the kit...
