Virginia City day ride

I want to do a VC ride really bad but I would like to stay in VC at the silver land. I'd like to pull in Friday evening ride all day Saturday and enjoy some drinks that evening in historic VC then head home Sunday. I think VC is one of the coolest little towns I've been to.

Looks like there is also a 5k run for the day also.

Yeah you might have to park on D street or by the RV park but once we get out of town, it's free sailing..
I couldn't resist going out once I got here.

Might want to be on the look out for hunters, there is a coyote hunt tomorrow all over northern Nevada. I'd love to go on this trip but Rzr still needs its recalled parts so I'll be taking part in the hunt tomorrow.

Now that sounds like a good plan ! That would be something to plan a little ahead and do !!!

That's how I do it, sometimes I stay down in Carson and haul it up for the day. It's nice to stay at silver land and be able to hit the trails right from the hotel.

I can only dream about going there !! We have a splash date of the 19th so I'm working 14 hours a day on the houseboat trying to get it ready to go in !!
