I got an email from Polaris on my 2012 rzr 570. They said I was on the recall list.

3 days later they emailed and said they were wrong. Not on the recall. I don't think Polaris has a clue!!

I called Red Bluff a week ago and they said that they are ordering parts when they came in they called. I took it down yesterday and it them about 2 hrs to get it done. So we are ready to go.

Is these the heat shields replaced under the recall or ??.

Over on the rzr forum there's a post about a fire AFTER the recall was done and the heat shield looks nothing like what your pics show ?
Apparently polaris is using plastic rivets to install the recall heat shields and they are what caught on fire or melted anyways...

Yes, these are the pieces they change for the recall. I have the plastic cover removed and polished the aluminum shield. There are only two plastic rivets, that I know of, that are on the front shield, the other three are bolted. Even if the rivets were to melt, the shield won't move. If someone is using rivets, they're doing it wrong. The other three shields are 100% bolt on.

Yes, apparently the harness for the new voltage regulator was getting too hot, so they have upgraded the harness. Crazy!
