    Benefits of a SXS

Hi I am in a toss up and have a few questions for the SxS community. Firstly what benefits are their between buying a side by side compared to say a Jeep Cherokee? Why not buy a Cherokee for crawling, trail riding and mudding? Overall my main question is why choose a SxS instead of a street legal 4x4 vehicle?

I think they both have their plus and minus. If you want something you can just drive to a trail and go out and drive around then the jeep works. If you want to go out and explore I think the SxS is a much better ride and you will be able to cover much more area in the same amount of time. I have had both and prefer the SxS for trail riding.

I'm like EPL but i think the side x side better because you can travel faster on ruff roads. And you don't need to worry about putting dents in the body or scratching the paint.

The jeep is nice to find the trails and see if it's worth hauling the SXS to.

My RZR rides much better than a Jeep and I can hit rough terrain at speeds that a Jeep could only dream of.

I think a side by side is a much more versatile machine. I have had mine on the rubicon rock crawling and with just a few shock preload adjustments flying through the dunes the next weekend.

I love camping. A jeep would mean having to have a motorhome as it wouldn't fit in my toy hauler.

The rzr is way faster and you can dune it. It's more versatile then a jeep. Sure you can dune a jeep but it will be kinda lame without a crap load more horsepower. The rzr is faster in the rocks unless the jeep is fully built with big tires and strong drive train. And you can mud the rzr but eff that too much clean up involved afterwards
