I had someone tell me once that because the front diff uses essentially an ATF type fluid it should be changed more often. He suggested every 50-75 hours. I don't know if that's true - I probably...
Fall is our favorite - the weather is pretty good - the sand is dry - and most of the kiddos have gone back to school making for less people out there :)
Thanks everyone, managed to strap it together just fine!
We have a new toy hauler and in order to get everything in - I'll need to narrow down my suspension. I only need to gain back about 3 inches at most. I've heard that you can do this with a ratchet...
I have a Beretta 40cal - its a little bulky even for a subcompact. However, Its a smooth gun to shoot. I've been looking at at Kahr 40 cal as a more concealable alternative. Bridge has a .380 S&W...
Synthetic rope. Its easier to work with and I've had no problems with it. I do make sure to spool it out and clean it up if I've been in the muck.
So we had a 28 foot bumper pull desert fox. I loaded it unhitched once with our 800 RZR, 2 quads, and the associated stuff for a trip. No problems loading.
BUT - the next day I backed up to hitch...
Staring longingly wanting to go ride......
I did finish the back-up camera install (like what Chad did). Don't know how long it will last - but for $30, its worth the experiment :)
We have been pretty happy with our 800S. I think it was a good solid compromise. The limiting factor for us was the size of our toy hauler - I couldn't get a 900XP and didn't want to deal with the...
Yeppers :)
We ride mostly on the sand - but its getting a bit old. We've done some riding over in central Oregon and southern Idaho. Finding time is of course the trick for more distant trips.
Orange - oh and do you still have any STRD stickers?
Lance - let us know when you get that set-up. I'd like to see it. We're still using a Garmin handheld on a dashmount - but the screen is far to dim during the day.
Funny :) - just bought the same kit for our 800s. Thought I would try it to see if it would work as a rear view mirror alternative. I haven't installed it yet, not quite sure where to mount the...
Barb - what are the options? :)
Our new Toy Hauler has a 200w solar installed - we haven't had it long - but so far I'm impressed!
We've done quite a bit of geocaching in the past, but haven't been out in the last year. I noticed that there are some new ones around us. I really enjoy desert rides and caching along the way.
I think that's what I'll end up doing. I've found a few used sets - but the Doonz seem to be a better option. Thank you!
Looking for a set of used rear sand tires and wheels for our 800s.
We are of course ;)
We have proarmor and love them.
Hi there, we probably know a few of you at least by reputation 😊
