1. Riding?
2. Would a non-turbo crimp your style?
Booked an RV spot site #40
Well Barry Bob doesn’t have a turbo either, some good stuff to explore out there. Come on out going to be a fun weekend. [emoji1417]
We're in site 98.
Look forward to this ride

Fun place to ride .
We'll be there in mid July. Never been, looking forward to it...
It is a fun place to camp and ride.
One word of caution. There is a type of tree they have planted there....you absolutely, positively, do not want to be camped under those trees when they eject their seed pods or whatever they are in the spring. We were there Easter Weekend 2019, and the trees decided to do there thing that weekend.
The seed pods have some nasty yellow sticky stuff on them, and they stick to everything, and I mean everything. Dogs, trucks, RVS, everything.
Several of the folks in our group, myself included, had our awnings out when these things launched, and to this day I have never been able to get the yellow stains off of the awning. Tried everything. Last year we had the roof of the toy hauler resealed and the guy that did it commented on the stains on the roof and how it took him twice as long to prep the roof for sealing fighting that goo.
So yeah, stay away from the trees in the spring.
Did anyone else get an e-mail from Walker River Resort today saying that with the Covid-19 thing everyone should re-evaluate their upcoming stay? Mine said they were open, including the pool and sporting clays (by appointment), and they were working hard to open all amenities.
Is anyone going to pass, or are we all still good to go?
Yeah I call them today, before I saw the email, I told them I was going to arrive on Thursday Afternoon, they said that was fine, so I will be getting there Thursday, they did tell me about the pool and stuff, we should do the Sporting Clays it would be fun, they also told me the bar and pool is open, but limited to how many people can go in at one time.
Me and Ed Jensen made reservations , were still going , in sites 90-91
OK, we're in site 98 and will still plan on coming!

I think this policy sucks, they did tell me there not going to charge us this time, but if this is how it is going forward this we probably be the last time I go there.
Neighbors , I think Mark said he was going too

We tried to get 3 sites a Walker River and was told "NO" because our size trailers use to much power ??
Kinda sounds like they really don't want the UTV crowd there? Penalties and turning clients away?
We have 2 45' and 1 40' !! My wife called the day before and the lady didn't say anything but the next day (different lady) was the B**** that told her that us people with big trailers use to much power and cause power failures in the park !! I think if we would have all done our own reservations we may have been ok but we support places like that !!
Like Paradise Shores complaining about the size of my truck last time......If you dont want to accommodate your guests, dont operate that type of business?
This is going to be a good group of people to ride with can’t wait.

We were there first week in June , there was a group of pushers about 6 with stackers all had side x sides and quads , how much power do they use ? the park was 75% full and plenty of large toy haulers , Guy Fieri pulled in with his 2 very large class C , pulling jeeps we did not know it was him till he was leaving , how much power was he using to cook his meals , LOL
We were there a couple of years ago in a 30amp site, we did blow the breaker a couple times, but were running everything AC TV Micro, still shouldn’t Trip, maybe they upgraded the power?
All those rules that was posted have been the rules since I’ve been going there, just the Charging of OHV‘s is new, I don’t like it, but looking forward to seeing everyone in a couple weeks. [emoji1417]
Hey Mike, did they tell you that they would be waiving the OHV fee for all of us? I'm just wondering if I need to call them to be sure.
