Skid plates

I am going to have to finally upgrade my skidplates...
Damn Rocks....but it was so much fun...
What thickness UHMW have peeps gone with 3/8 or 1/2..

I'm going to upgrade the skids also, I think I'm going to go with 3/8 , my stock ones are like 1/16 lol

Yes Desert 900 that's who we are taking about Factory UTV out of Sacramento area..great company to deal with and ride with..

LBR will be picking up my skids from Factory UTV next week on his way to March Madness..
Him AND HotRod hopefully will have them installed by the time I get to Parker a week later...lol

So everyone has been recommending 3/8". Is this what you are getting? If not, what and why? Thanks in advance!
