Can-Am XDS 1000 Turbo.
I do not know if it's just me, but the Google maps link on the roll call is not sending me to Johnson lane.

Hwy 395 south of hwy 50 about 5 or 6 miles to Johnson lane, turn left and follow it til you run out of pavement. I'll put up some marker to follow from there on Friday afternoon. Not sure yet where Barry is going set up camp.

I rode the Sunday portion of this ride today, and the weather was perfect. The snow drifts on the north side of the hill have melted enough to get through. So there is a section that you didn't get to see on the January ride.http://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/2016...b9558c8a5c.jpghttp://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/2016...93c03f70c4.jpghttp://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/2016...be43756392.jpg

Great pictures Jeff !!!
It's about 4 or 5 miles from where we turn off to the staging area.

Be ready to leave the staging area by 9:00 am. Leo wants to have the drivers meeting then, and we'll leave right after that.

The weather was absolutely perfect this weekend. If it last though next weekend, we will have a great ride.

Those of us that live over this side of the mountain know not to pay much attention to long range forecasts lol. Sierras have a big effect on what happens over here. Last Monday we had 6-12" of snow in different parts of town.
Jeff, will we be able to re-fuel at camp after the first little loop or will our rout continue us east after we drop back down from the first loop.

Definitely would a agree if I had a safe way to mount spare gas, I would. Just know there is no way the turbo is going 120 without a top off and would love to do the whole thing. Anywhere to park my truck up on the trail where the first loop intersects the cross over to the eastern loop(that spot 5 minutes from camp) with a gas can before we take off in the morning?

I have 2 2 gallon can that i will bring
If you have a good gas that doesn't leak it's ok. If you don't have a rider you can put it in the floor board i have had a 5 gallon can in the floor and it was fine.
