WOW! that is a lot of people going
wished we could but just have way much stuff to do around the place
How are the trails? Any parts that I will have trouble with ground clearance with my EPS Trail? Spend last night replacing a driver side a-arm. Hit a boulder in middle of trail that I did not see. Had to beat the hell out of the mounting bracket to get new one in. It's not pretty but pivot points are fine.
You should be ok. I'm not going to say that there's no rocks... It's Nevada... Lol

I always carry one, but it does add a lot of excess weight. Where we're going is pretty rocky for about half of the loop.

Just installed my radio and intercom today, this coming drive pushed me over the edge to order. I didn't have one for VC and i figured it'd be nice to hear what's going on. What channel do you use? I got the radio from Rugged so it has all their pre-programmed channels.
Wish I had a spare today. Punctured both Right side tires Rear went down immediately front slowly. Those damn NV rocks first an a-arm now 2 tires. I am planning on attending the ride if I get tires and a spare before April 9th http://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/2016...94280b7ae7.jpg
Crossing my fingers really want to venture out into new areas and meet everyone. Trying to decide which tires would be best for the type of terrain we have here in nevada.
Ya the bighorns are not to good for rocks I've cut 3 down on the rocks so if you have one bring it you never know even with low air pressure you can cut one. You can mount it up out of the way. http://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/2016...68ae99c0cd.jpg

IMHO I don't think that the bighorns are a good tire for our area they have to wide of a tread pattern, which makes the easy to puncture with the train we ride in. I am on me second set of the GBC mongrels and have had good luck with them. But this is what has been working for me.
I considered the Mongrels, but having heard more than a few negatives on their sidewall strength I decided against them and went with Dirt Commanders. The Pro Armor Crawlers and the Tensor Regulators seem to have a good reputation, too.
I really like the Big Horn 2's on my 660 Grizzly, though. No problems with them.
I went with the Dirt Commanders RM price matched Discount tire plus still received RM Cash. I wanted to go with Tensor Regulators but think I'll need new clutch to keep performance and I'm still in warranty until August. Add me to the list!

I went with the Tensor Regulators 28x10x14 and just got my clutch kit from SLP hoping this week end i can install them Attachment 1698Attachment 1699
I plan on going to a Tensor 28 or 30 x10x14 on a 5+2 wheel for my turbo. I hadn't considered needing a mod to the clutch to run them, I don't believe they are that much heavier than the big horns are they?
The Tensors are 38 lbs plus 2 inches taller The DC 27/9-12 are 25 lbs and an inch taller than my stock PXT's
Switched to 12" rims on your XPT? Would you mind detailing why? I see so many go to a 15" but never down to a 12. New to all this and trying to decide which way i'd like to go.
