That figured out the ones that last vs the ones that fail..
I'm not saying all will fail, I've seen a few 1ks that have and it was ugly..
The rod bent 90 degrees in the cylinder,it took out the bottom case, cylinder, and head,,
It wasn't worth fixing..
This brings up a point I've been wanting to share with the group...
REFLASHES....and rasing the REV LIMITER,,, Polaris spent countless dollars figuring out the fine balance of what they designed the engine an the rpm limit..
Then you have companies out there that tap into the ECU and write whatever programs they desire and raise the rpm limit and IMO that's just raisin the stakes for failure..
For what,,to gain a few extra hp..
