My wife and I just got back from maui for 2 weeks. Loved it, but I love the diversity of the main land. From NorCal to the dunes in Oregon I feel blessed to live here :)

Just got back

Did plenty of pre-riding, about 300 miles worth

Found a close staging area to my place

I can ride right from my park to Volcano

How-ever would not wanna do it with big group ride

Had a good time working and finding new trails

You would think after 7 years of riding up here I would know all the roads and trails

That is not the case, in fact I still get lost from time to time and find new trails every-time

Leo, how far is that from the Crags ride? We were planning on joining you on Sunday after that ride.

Grand-Son and I did 3 days of pre-riding the volcano and crags last week

Its a great, safe-way to teach-em how to drive and get-em at a young age to have fun with Gra-pa

All he wanted to do was Drive and make me ride

He is a very good driver for being a young 14

He will be my private chauffeur on these rides coming up

How long you plan on being out on Sunday Leo? If I make it up for Saturday ride, thinking of just staying for Sunday too, would love to check out that wash out.

Went to The Volcano on Monday for First of the Snow Ride

Weather was great Snow was just right at 6000' elevation

Snow level down to 4500'

Not much there about 6"-!2''
