Several of us usually camp at the staging area as well. It is plenty big enough, only requires about 100 feet of dirt road, and since it is all BLM, totally legal. And it's about 5 minutes to Neil and Deb's house.

We pretty much cruise, do stop to take it all in a-lot, never in a hurry no sense in that
Put us on the list as long as it's not the weekend of the 16th or 23rd. Our grandson will be christened one of those weekends.

Any-way you can-not get to the cross any-more trail got washed out. Could go strait up south side, but that is a tough
The roller coaster was one of my favs as well and it no longer is there cause it got total wiped out
