G Billy where you able to go out to twin bridges? I am feeling much better I can go out in the pickup and take pictures of the camping spots and post them. Its only about a 45min drive . There's basically one spot to put everyone. And i hope deer season is over by then I don't hunt so I don't know when its over.

Looks like your not going to have to find a place to fit my trailer !! I'm having shoulder surgery on Nov 5th .
Ok Ed I hope you have a better doctor then I did . Good luck and do what they tell you. My cancer surgery looks like i was in a knife fight and lost and then i had injections in my back feeling pretty good now I think I can go back to work and do some riding . Just got to get released .
Great camping easy fire roads if they get boring speed up haha try to make it
Lainracing and I found some pretty good trails up there before, we were on sports quads back then, one that stands out is the trail that follows the river towards the snow park, it got tight and technical in spots, we turned around cause we had to get back, definitely like to loop it out though the snow park this time. Some other trails that you can rock crawl through the Lava Beds. It a fun place to explore.

The few times I have ridden in this area
Discovered some sweet Trails and one awesome hill climb
This is going to be a fun trip
Hoping for snow by than
Yes a little snow on the ground would be nice Leo, I've been there before when it was snowing , fun but cold. [emoji301]️

oh ya it get way-cold at night there in November
Make sure you bring your long-johns and a good sleeping bag
Or run the heater on camper all night
I am going to cut a 4'' hole in fire-wall on RZR
That pipe the heat from radiator to cab for poor mans heater set -up
Full front and rear windshield is a must for me in cold-ass weather
Has anyone picked a campground yet ??
I will get directions when we are all at SM..
Guess I better have LBR start searching for a windshield for the Maverick
I have been looking forward to this ride since Leo and Mike did a similar ride 3 or 4 years ago!! Unfortunately, I just found out that we have a wedding in SoCal the same weekend, so I'll have to bail. I'm really bummed.
It seems to me that a while back a few of you (Leo, both Eds, Mike, Rick, ?????) were talking about the possibility of a pre-ride to scout some of the trails. If any of you would be interested in that, let me know!!!
Hoping we would have had some rain or snow by now
Most of the years past we always had over 3'' of rain for the month of September
This September less than .5"
I will be open to go for pre-ridein Oct 12-14 thats Monday, Tues, or Weds
Its about an Hour south-east of Mccloud for me to staging area
I can go the 12or14 got a doctor appointment on the 13 I can show you what i know out there. Then we can look around.

We took ride out there Sunday and the campground looks good no fire damage. There's a lot on the way up to the look out.The potato bute side the big hill climb is a lot steeper at the base and small climb on the north side is blocked off.The track is the same still a good spot for the kids. Sorry no pics battery was dead on my phone. But lots of room creek side and the top of the hill for camping.

You take the highway 89 like you are heading to Mc Cloud and Reno stay on 89 when you get to the turn for Reno go straight to Old Station that is highway 44 to Redding keep going until you get to a rest aera the road in is about 100feet past the rest stop turn left on to the dirt road go down the road until you get to a bridge go over the bridge and turn left the 1st camp spot is on the left go up the hill more spots on top of the hill on left and right side of the road start down the hill and the creek side spots are on the left you can see it's a big open spot you have lots of room for trailers there is nothing after that.

My directions to hard lol ...
I 'll try to make it easier.
I- 5 south to 89 east to Mc Cloud , Lassen Park, Reno at Old Station it is Hwy 89 and 44 Lassen Park and Redding keep going after you get to Hat Creek Resort keep going you will come to a rest stop and Mount Lassen view area Twinbrides road is about 100feet past the rest stop on the left side of the road same side as the rest stop.
Go down that dirt road to bridge going over a creek.
Turn left on the first road after the bridge.
Go about a 1/4 of a mile and you will be on top of a hill the best camp is down the hill on the left big flat spot and the creek.
I can go out there and mark the way in if you would like.

Thanks everyone...see you there
Not sure if LBR and I will make it after all..maybe next time...
Did this camp out ever happen? No recent activity indicating one way or the other......
I got busy working on the house and forgot.
Seemed strange since there were quite a few signed up and no activity.
Maybe nobody wanted to go cause you couldn't go Ed? ;)
I forgot all about it, but would still like to go, maybe in the spring, Summer is really dusty there.

Thinking about going up next weekend and maybe doing some hiking if the roads are safe enough.
