Ok...time for all you crazies to put on your thinking/design caps...we need to plan a float/parade entry also to decorate our camp...let's take over both sides of the 1st road..

That has been on or news way to much !! I don't know exactly what happen at Sand Mountain . Down Here he got in a bar fight and punched someone and they died so everything he does is in the news .

thats what ive been told to he was parked with a group at the bottom of comp hill nobody had lights on but everyone knows people are their also heard the sand rail was doing a wheelie when he hit the guy

years ago when sand mtn was at its peak stuff like this was common life flight was making 5 or more trips a day and on big weekends about 3 deaths were common with ambulances their many times a day shooting guns was everyday,,, people running from blm,rangers or police happen all the time. stolen stuff quads, dirtbikes you name it ..... one year some jerk went around taking peoples hitches...he finaly got caught then the economy took a dump and the place died down was real nice for many years untill it started to become popular again ive seen the place change over a long time been going their since the 70's back then if 7 people were their that was crowded

The gun incident happened right behind my trailer.
Started over 2 RZR's bumping tires on the road. Not a big deal, but one of the drivers was drunk and belligerent about it and confronted the other driver, who happened to be camped behind me. The argument ended up at the camp behind me with the drunk pulling a gun. I guess people scattered and one of the guys went and got the rangers. They arrested the guy on multiple charges, including from what I heard, armed assault, and DUII.

thats how places get shut down... back when stuff like this happen allot the rangers got real tought and started busting people for anything, even started going into camps and searching any ice chest outside... their is a rule on they can search anything out side with out a warrent. it wasnt fun for a couple years this was back in 2005-2007

lmao....i didnt like it you know me i like to goof off too much and a drag only bike just didnt work for me...it was fast but to temperamental for me my fave dune quad was also my slowest... kfx 700 i loved that bike.

LOL That bike is freekin badass I will take a beating by that thing any day, but I did not lose to any banshee on my junker. My buddy said he did 100 mph which is awesome

We were talking about that, the kid used to be on of the best riders out there but I think the crash he had a few years back changed him.
He actually said he would never ride on again, I think I was faster for sure LOL. I have carried that kid off the track way to many times and I'm just glad he is still in kind of one piece haha

I remember that wreck he had, lots of dangers in the sport we love..

After my near misses with drag quads it made me change my mind, there is some truth to that saying with age comes the cage lol

I will second this idea. Not into the drama and total crowds as well. Also don't like the severe change in weather towards the end of the month.
