I'm just wondering what they do. Are they only for heavy mod machines or is there a benefit to stock performance? FYI I have an Alba programmer w/air filter kit and a SLP exhaust on my XP.

I think a clutch kit will help any machine, stock or not as long as it is adjusted correctly. A big reason a lot of people use them is when they upgrade their tires. The different sizes and weights makes a big difference on the performance if you don't adjust the clutch also.

Depends,

A good clutch kit like the Dalton we sell has a job, it's job is to get engine rpm in the range where the engine makes power during shift phase at around 8300 rpm for your jagged X that in turn provides you more performance and cooler belt temps

Anyone with larger tires, duning etc that causes rpm to come down can get that RPM back where it belongs too
