Last night a 19 year old wrecked his dirt bike at the super bowl an broke his neck..

Life flight showed up along with Fallon police at the scene my buddy with his 900 took the officer to the bowl help put his body in a body bag and then on the stretcher and they strapped it to the roof of his car and brought him down to the ranger station, they try to revive him but he had been deceased for too long.

The saddest thing must have been when the officer contacted his mother and told her son was deceased..

It makes you stop and think how fragile life is..

My prayers and thoughts go out to him and his family

I've seen this kinda thing happen up there many times over the years. You never get used to it. Sounds like it happened when BLM Rangers were not there with their rigs to bring him down off of the hill. I'm sure the sheriff was as respectful as he could be given the circumstances. It's been a few years since I've been out there but I can remember accidents occur ring out there and people having to drive toward town just to get a cell signal and once they did, it would take 25 minutes for the paramedics to get there from town. Sometimes 45 min to an hour. It sounds like this young man didn't have this kind of time. It's a horrible chain of events but something to think about. I'm very sad to hear about this happening again.
