Ivy Branch and Little Coal will be closing soon, hopefully not permantly, I loved Ivy Branch.

Hopefully they can work something out .
I hate to see trails being closed , maybe the new owners will them them stay open !!

Majority of land in that part of Wv is owned by out of state investors, energy companies etc. Very little of that area is actually owned by local residents . There has been rumors for quite some time about another trail being added to Indian Ridge and maybe this will speed that up . Sucks to lose any of the trails.

From what I have read the reason it was closed is because the person that owned the land past away and the family sold the property. They are hoping that as soon as the sale is complete the new owners will give permission to use the trails again.
