I think it's great that Polaris is 1 acknowledging that's there a problem, and 2 standing behind there product , hopefully everybody gets there machine checked out and that takes care of everything.
Sad for those that did burn up, would be way scary to have that happen out on a ride.

Its voluntary, so that kinda means not much

Now on other hand if it was mandatory recall

They would be taking responsibility and they do-not wanna do that

The fuel rails are failing though and this is for the vent line being routed incorrectly and having a kink. Maybe the vent hose putting pressure in the tank could be one issue but a bunch of fuel rails have been breaking. RPM is even selling a fire prevention kit that replaces the fuel rail with a billet one.

At 1st they were saying it's cause people were carrying fuel cans, but that wasn't the case case with the ones in Oregon catching fire..no fuel cans in the vehicles..
I have also heard that it was a joint that was solder and after a while it got so hot it melted the solder and the joint let loose and raw fuel split onto of engine....
I just hope they get it figured out quickly, before more serious injuries happen

Yeah I hear it's the fuel rail is soldered together or brazed. They need to get this fixed now it scares me to think this is going to keep happening.
