2015 lk Powersteering light

I have a 2015 xp1000 and was leaving a friends place and the power steering wasn't working and the light was on. Turned off the machine and started it back and it worked like normal. Tried it several times and worked each time. Any ideas what this could be?

They will do that if the battery is low

Two things I know that will make the power steering stop working. Main thing is if the voltage regulator is causing under OR over charging. Other thing is if you let the rzr sit not running with the key left on long enough that the headlights power off, and then start it the power steering won't work till the ignition is turned off and then back on.
