Seems pretty fast from the factory, but the reflashed Mavs are reporting indicated top speeds at 88 mph, 86 gps at 8250 rpm. Direct drive transmission, taller tires, 10,500 rpm......HOLY CRAP....sit down, shuddup, and hang on!....lol

From what I can see the say top speed is 80 .

I read something that said the top speed is 80 from the dealer, but the gearing will allow it to go to 100 with a reflash.

There was a post with pictures that a turbo Mav owner had tested the YXZ on release day in Australia. Possibly Yamaha let these demos out as ringers with increased revs (reflashed). He didn't say the dude had it that fast, so could be just the word from Yamaha engineers of it's capabilities. He also reposted thru the first 3 gears, the T Mav was a bit quicker, but 4th and 5th the YXZ became an unleashed beast.
