I know it's like beating a dead horse but I can't really find a good answer. I do a lot of trail riding with sharp rocks and stair steps (ledges). This weekend I cut my side wall going up a ledge. So I'm looking for some tires that are going to handle rocks and won't break the bank. Looking at 27x10x12 thanks in advance

Tensor tire makes a tire in 28X10X12 that from what I understand are great tires . I don't know what you have for a SXS but I have a XP900 and think they are going to work great . Washrepair just did a write up on them in the tire thread on this forum.

I'm thinking I May Need To Upgrade From My bighorns...I have been living on the edge so others have said...knock on rubber I have had O issues with the BH's ...I like them because I can air them down to 5lbs for the sand then air them back up for the trails...

I like the bighorns for the same reason for the sand but have had a lot of flats on the rocky trails so I'm thinking about going to Tensors for the trails.
