just how important are they I ran all the way back to the trucks several miles at 50+ mph with no air in a front tire and it never came off the bead is the money worth it for the wheels or should I just get better tires like the tensors that Russel has and run a 28x10x12
hope to make up my mind intime for the Oct sand mountain run

Bead locks = peace of mind

You got lucky! They never hold when you need them to

Only time I have ever popped a bead, a gnarly crash was involved..... I have them on mine just for pose factor.

Beadlocks to me are a must in the dunes...but as Beer Mod says it's a piece of mind out on the trails & desert

I need beadlocks for my 16 paddles in the sand...sometimes I drop the rear air pressure down to 3 psi, so regular rims aren't my friend.

I think I still have a set of Rhino T7 beadlocks in my garage if you want them.

I ran on front tire with no Air It held up good on just fire trails

Guess I would need -em if I had to drop pressure down

If you don't have bead-locks may-be take a spare

I never do, but prolly should

I'll search out what those T7s look like Steve...how much would you need for them?

I also forgot to mention that my sand paddles are already on beadlocks. The dirt tires I bought from cbooth has non beadlock rims, but I keep the nominal 10-12 lbs in them, so never felt I needed beadlocks out in trails and desert.
