Who Will Jump Ship ??????

My first SXS was a Yamaha Rhino and have had 3 different Polaris RZR's which I still have 2 of them !!!!!!!!!!! Now my question is IF Yamaha comes out with some kind of awesome new SXS would you switch from what you have to a Yamaha ????????

From what I have seen and heard Yamaha makes a lot better Quality, Dependability, Fit and Finish, to name a few, when you compare to Polaris

I would have stuck with Polaris if still made here

So if I buy foreign made stuff with my hard earned money I should by all means get the best

My XP900 is gone now they picked it up last week , I sat in a 15 XP1k and felt cramped, Bob Lain and I took a short test ride in a 15 turbo Maverick4 seater , which I liked until I was in the passenger seat, just a couple times around the parking lot had my leg heating up, so much I couldn't rest it on the plastic inside the cab, I think the exhaust is right there, it may be ok on driver side?
I'm going to wait and seethe Yamaha before I get anything , only a couple weeks away , I'll just ride the quads for now.

Yeah maybe they can chime in Leo, I don't know if there is a kit to block off the exhaust heat? Or if it's just cause it's new, maybe it breaks in and gets better?

Defiantly would be nice to have some quality , something you don't have to buy a ton of things for cause the manufactures cut cost.

Did you notice the video editing? I think he was stalling up against the big rocks and the music masked it. I like the idea of the Yamaha but don't think it's practical for all the different types of terrain that we ride. You will be slipping the clutch like crazy in the rocks and then when it's burned up out on the trail you can't just replace the belt and keep going. In the dunes or on fire roads it would be a blast.

nate at alba has a turbo done and also a hopped up n/a one on the dyno it hit 11,000 rpm at over 100 mph cant wait to see what it does in the real world a couple shock guys are working on a spring upgrade and also some re valving soon

Couple of test drivers have stated by day's end constant shifting was starting to fatigue them. They needed to be always more alert to driving because of shifting compared to an CVT....a good thing being more alert is awesome, but not having to keep the brain awake just for shifting RPMS tho IMO.

No low range for smaller dunes, tree shots, trails, slow hill climbs is taboo for me....the demo that "attempted" to play here was deadlined with clutch failure at 20 miles on the clock.....can't speak for you, but time for me to sit back and watch.

All my cars or Trunks than had either three speed or 4 speed tranny

I worked in Frisco back than and what a pain in the pass it was

You know stopping on an up-hill, had to use parking brake, clutch and gas pedal at the same time to get going again

All the dang stop and go traffic is nightmarish with manual Tranny

Got spoiled with auto Tranny

Me too Lance. I think I'll let someone else be the Guinea pig and wait &. See what other bugs surface as well. I would like to test ride one though to satisfy my curiosity.

Polaris has had us all use to that since they came out with RZR

The XYZ will prolly be different as the quality, fit and finish look better, Time will tell

Only problem I have been having with all the new SxS

Is they are getting bigger and bigger all the time

Shit the XZY weights over 500 pounds heavier than my RZR

I would be suprized if it could go the places my rig can go

Plus I would Race any of these Heavy Hogs around my Track any-time

They are to heavy to corner as good as a lighter machine I would take-em big time on the Corners for sure

What attracted me to the RZR was it was fairly light under 1000lbs, real nimble, easy to tow

That attraction is now gone, with all these super sized heavy weights they are now making

Shit an ACE 900 weighs more than 08 RZR
