on the valve cover i dont see 3 plugs wonder if its a twin with a shared scavenger ex port? i cant tell just looks too small from that shot plus with the top cliped off so hard to see

At work the other night.. (I'm a Bartender) A customer came in dressed in Yamaha attire so I asked do you work for Yamaha, he said YES...So much next question was...Does LBR need the new Yamaha or does he stay with his Ole Rhintax...LOL...this guy wasn't much of a salesman... I got BRP to tell me more when the came into the bar a few years ago...I think I scare them when this older looking woman bartender is asking questions...engine, suspension, wheelbase ect....

I hope so !!! LOL Could be trany behind the engine with logical placed dipstick to check the oil level .....just thought of course. LOL

IDK, that whole exahust looks like a custom one with header flange having different than Yami markings......September 1st @ 10:00 am we'll know for sure, so goes the rumor.

IDK for sure Leo , but I think there is some rule that for a trail machine, can't have over a 1000cc motor. But I guess will see, I I'm defiantly waiting till Yamaha comes out till I buy my new car.

Yes there is a law AB 1595 and the manufacture help from it. Including Yamaha. Besides 1000cc is plenty to work with for now.

If they do use their 1050 based 3 cylinder, they will need to shrink it down under the 1000cc. If I were the CEO, I would direct the engineers to leave existing stroke alone and reduce the bore accordingly, then add a discount coupon in the new owner's packet for a kit to "BB it up" to a 1050....lol

Wow!! That would be nice to see an all motor come out

One of the rumors is that it is The 1050cc motor that is in their sleds and sleeved down to 999cc. That would be cool because it wouldn't take much to bring the size back up with a cylinder kit since they wouldn't be changing the stroke.

Aftermarket turbo kits are already available....Will be fun to have a car with more RPM than my vacuum cleaner. LOL
