The way these things are evolving at such at fast pace

I am afraid to buy one, because it will be obsolete in 6 months to a year

Case and point: The 900-S they just came out with is already obsolete. cause of the 1000-S

When Yamaha enters the game that will make a-lotta RZRs Obsolete

I am going to sit on the fence and just drive my Obsolete RZR for the time being

One more thing 25 Grand for a car that breaks and has more trouble than you can imagine

Just ain't worth it to me

Just want a few mouths and all these new RZRs will be obosolete like mine

the only thing that makes me wonder about the yamy is its been so long to make that jump from the old 700 slow rhino wanabe to a high hp sxs yes they have good eng but everything works so diff in one seems like a huge jump? and the new eng looks like a wet clutch im still not sold on it working well. only reason i say this is if you have ever driven a sxs with a bike eng the trans have large rpm drops wile climbing hills sort of like quads and with the heavy sxs when you down shift its easy to spin the tires and dig in... thats why the cvt works so well in them..the rpm is constant and down shifts with no pause or loss of rpm... but they are under clutched and we have belt meltdown.....<---- just me looking in and outside the box...not bashing yam as i realy dont care what brand...oh ok not a fan of artic cat.... i just look at the pros and cons diff than most folk.

I'll hold onto my 570. It does everything the Mrs and I need it to do. 58 mph is plenty fast for us in a rzr.

Guess the price tag on one of these babys is aprox.>>> $25,000.00

Than here in Ca. another Aprox.>>>$3500.00 in Tax and other stuff that does nothing for you

So in reality we are looking at over >>>$28,000.00 for new Turbo XP

If a guy or gal does not have that kind of cash on hand

Than they would have to fork out another couple of Thousands Buxs on financing

Now you are talking over >>>$30,000.00

Thats a-lot of money for a car that you can not drive every-where and is Not street legal

Some say its like comparing apples and oranges when you are talking about RZR and a Car

I do -not see it that way at all

They both have four wheels on-em and are not apples and oranges They in Fact are both Cars

What I am saying is when you buy an RZR Car

You are getting really screwed compared to other Cars out there

Not one of-em has a 100,000 mile 5 year warranty like some cars do

No AC, air-bags, Tunes, CC, Heater to name a few

I believe they over-price-em by about 50% to 60%

I guess they do that, cause we have been fooled thinking they are really worth that much

I don't have one and wont, but if you think there is no popo that cant beat your z1 in a drag race your nuts I know of a few 900xp's based motors that will wax the z1 and it has been provin many times. I drive a stock S so I will never be able to race you LOL

Tough challenge. .Beer Mods car is one of the fastest I've personally seen..with that said I haven't seen these 900 based cars being referred too that can out run the said Z1..I've learned anything s possible with these machines and my buss is not n this class of cars..

Pat is actually right about the few popo based engines being extremely fast.....

BUT....those engines he speaks of are more along the lines of a top fuel dragster engine..

It's either going to go or it's going to BLOW !

And I don't know a whole lotta people who are willing to rebuild the motors after every weekend,,

Agreed!

With that said, from the looks of it they always left real close together and I can't make out any point where the rzr lifted. Turbos are on or off very hard to feather the throttle in an attempt to cheat real world results. Who knows...... I need to see them lined up at sand mt to tell for sure!
