Stumpy Meadows Reservoir 1/17/21 Sunday

Going to go explore the trails around Stumpy Meadows on Sunday, meet at the parking lot off Wentworth Springs Rd 8:30AM , I haven’t ridden up there so going to be exploring and stuff, looks like there tons of trails. Bring lunch, gas.

Really cool area up there around Stumpy Meadows, trails and roads go in all directions , lots of loops to explore, was trying to get to Union Valley Lake, some down trees made us turn around, found another trail down, but ice and snow had us working harder than we wanted lol, definitely want to go back in the spring time.

There are campgrounds up there, but everything closed right now.

We used to ride dirt bikes up there 40 years ago! And I know there are campgrounds (dry, of course) in the area. Would be a fun trip with Mike guiding!
